Happy May, and welcome to another middle-of-the-month content guide from your home for the Adventures in Odyssey Community! On top of this, this is the first post to be released on our new website. This is also our first content guide for the month of May. With that, we have completed at least a guide covering all twelve months of the year! It’s so satisfying to see this series finally completed. We’ll always be updating and refining them to reflect yearly changes. There’s a lot in store at this organization for the summer, but let’s save that for another day, cutting to the chase and giving you our top episode recommendations for the month of May.
May 2025 Club Episode
AIO came out with the conclusion (for now) to a five-part, successive monthly Club series involving Ron Perkins and his family. It’s received high praise, some of which you can find on our Twitter page. We’ll also definitely release a long-form write-up of this character sometime in the coming weeks. We won’t spoil the touching conclusion here, rather, you can listen to “The Difference” now with our club episode link.
Graduation and Finals Episodes
There are only a few prominent events in May, and of all of them, Graduation Day might easily take center stage. The day is filled with speeches, parties, and events that span before and after. It manages to draw in everyone from younger siblings to grandparents. It’s an interesting time. This can also be a period of reflection for students: current, graduating, and alumni. For that reason, we’ve included some great episodes in that genre on this list as well. Interestingly, a majority of our picks involve Connie in some way.

If there’s one thing worse than boring graduation speeches in the month of May, it’s finals. If you’re a current student, it’ll probably be unhelpful to listen to these assessment-related episodes reminding yourself how unlocked-in you are, but at least you’ll find some solidarity.

What’s May without Mother’s Day? This is the most prominent holiday for the first two weeks of the month, and why shouldn’t it be? It’s a great holiday celebrating one of the most important elements of humanity, to say the least. AIO has lots of episodes about mothers and their significance. And although National Adoption Day isn’t until December, we think it’s appropriate to include a few adoption-related episodes here, too. Here are a few:

Our readers in the United States will know that the last day of May is one of a few holidays set aside to commemorate military service. It happens to be beautiful that the Club’s Perkins series wrapped up when it did too.
