25 Adventures in Odyssey Episodes to Celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary

For the past several years, this website has published an extensive summer AIO episode guide, second in length only to our popular Christmas episode guides. This isn’t every other year, though, which is why we’ll be giving it a little boost to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the best nation on the planet.

AWB isn’t the only one to create such a guide, though. This year, Focus on the Family has even partnered with the White House’s Freedom 250 organization to organize an anniversary display as part of the latter’s “Faith and Family” focus of the celebration. As part of this, AIO’s Freedom 250 page lists some patriotic episodes for families to enjoy. The list includes Radio Theatre’s The Legend of Squanto. Gary Locke has drawn new art for most episodes featured (an improvement over the recent AI ‘art’, though I digress). As part of this program, there is also an Adventures in Odyssey booth in Washington, DC at the Great American State Fair, which your author will absolutely be visiting this Independence Day. To stay on topic, the list of episodes below will be a combination of the list of our America-focused episodes from years past, the list provided by Focus’s Freedom 250 site, some other episodes of American heroes that should be featured, and the latest Club-released episode “The Measure of a Patriot”, released just in time for this event. Enjoy this list below, complete with Club links, as always. Happy 250th anniversary, America!!
