A Defense Post About Emily Jones
Adventures for Odyssey Fans put out a piece on Friday, partially discussing the ever-so-infamous Rydell Saga, this time focusing on Emily. Emily’s caught some flak in the fan community, even before her run-ins with the Rydells. Fans would refer to her as bossy, annoying, or pushy. This post addresses that and is certainly a recommended read.

What’s New in Odyssey?
Elsewhere in Odyssey Book Release
Several weeks ago, the Adventures in Odyssey team put out Volume One of the Elsewhere in Odyssey Book series. It’s available for purchase at the Focus on the Family online store and is actually on sale for $11.24 at the time of this newsletter’s publication. This is a great addition to any Adventures in Odyssey collection.
Album 79 Album Cover and Title Official Release
Another piece of news that is now extensively covered is Album 79’s cover release. The image has made its rounds in the Adventures in Odyssey Fan Club. It features a fallen Jules looking up at the viewer, clearly indicating a decision point of some kind. The producers have promised to wrap up all current sagas before Album 80. Because of this, we can expect her to come to terms with her salvation in this album, the second-to-last before the show’s expected reset. As we’ve discussed before, this album will be entitled 11th Hour.
Summer of Odyssey!
The real header here should be “What’s New at AIO Writer’s Block,” because there is definitely a bunch of exciting stuff coming up. On May 7th, we announced our Summer of Odyssey promotion, which will be a multi-week event filled with giveaways, all-new Adventures in Odyssey fan content, and AWB promises fulfilled! Here, now, you’re getting an exclusive look at the agenda for this summer. It starts on June 2nd, with the official release and dedication of this new website.

What’s Odyssey Podcast Season 2
Omitted from the earlier list is the release of the What’s Odyssey Podcast. You may notice that the episode above is entitled “Prologue”. This is part of the reformatting of the second season. “The Destruction of Truth” was initially scheduled as episode nine of the second season. Gradually, we’ve moved toward a different approach. This is now the name of the entire second season, a theme we’l be moving under. On June 13th, the precursor to this season will come out. On July 4th, America’s Independence Day celebration, The Fight For Feminism (stylized “The Fight For Feminism?”) will premiere, kicking off the series that will continue weekly.
